IISER Kolkata invites applications for Assistant Professor (Grade I) positions under a Special Recruitment Drive for backlog vacancies in SC, ST, and OBC-NCL categories. Highly qualified candidates with research and teaching credentials in relevant disciplines are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility Criteria
- PhD in a relevant discipline with 60% (or equivalent CGPA) in previous degree
- Minimum 3 years post-PhD teaching/research/industry experience
- At least 6 first-author papers in Q1 journals (4 for Mathematics/CDS)
Pay Structure & Benefits
- Level 12: ₹1,01,500/month + allowances
- Promotion to Level 13A1 (₹1,31,400/month) after 3 years based on review
- Benefits: HRA, TA, DA, NPS, LTC, CPDA (₹3 lakh/3 years), relocation allowance up to ₹1.25 lakh
