- CSIR-UGC NET, DBT-JRF, DBT-BINC-JRF, ICMR-NET, DST-INSPIRE, JEST or equivalent.
- The validity date of the fellowship should not be earlier than $31^{st}$ January 2026.
- Master’s Degree: Must have a Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering/ Science/ Technology/Medical with:
- At least 55% of marks for General candidates.
- At least 50% of marks for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/ Differently Abled Persons and other categories (as per UGC norms).
- Final Year Candidates: Candidates in the final year of their master’s degree program who also hold a valid national-level test qualification (as mentioned above) are eligible to apply. However, they must submit their final mark sheet or degree certificate at the time of joining.
- DST INSPIRE Candidates: Candidates possessing a DST INSPIRE Fellowship must also have qualified in an appropriate national-level eligibility examination like GATE, JEST, NET LS/Assistant Professor/admission to Ph.D. or equivalent at the time of application.
- Non-JRF Holders: Candidates who have qualified in GATE, JEST, NET LS/Assistant Professor/admission to Ph.D., or any other national-level examination but do not hold a valid JRF are eligible to apply. Their test scores must remain valid until at least $31^{st}$ January 2026. A limited number of fellowships offered by Bose Institute are available for this category based on performance during the interview.
Fellowship and Stipend Details
