Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria to be eligible for Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) PhD Admission 2025-26:
- Candidates must have completed a 1-year/2-semester master’s degree programme after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree programme, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade.
- Candidates must have completed a 2-year/4-semester master’s degree programme after a 3-year bachelor’s degree programme or equivalent, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade.
- Candidates seeking admission after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree programme must have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade.
- Candidates who have completed the M.Phil. programme with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade shall be eligible.
- Candidates with an equivalent qualification from a foreign educational institution accredited by a recognized statutory authority in its home country shall be eligible.
- For qualifications like M.D.S., M.D., M.S., D.M., M.Ch. (where marks are not given), candidates must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in the relevant Undergraduate Examination. An undertaking that the degree awarding institution does not provide marks is required.
