Essential Qualification (General Criteria)

  • Full-Time (FT) with Institute Fellowship/JRF: Selection is based on a Written Test (70% weightage) and an Interview (30% weightage). The institute may relax the requirement of the written test and/or interview for candidates with a qualified GATE/NET score or a high percentage in their previous degrees. The written test is of two hours duration.
  • Part-Time (PT) / Sponsored (FT/PT): There is generally no written test for these categories. Selection is based on the Departmental Interview and a thorough assessment of the candidate’s academic and research profile.

General Instructions
