AIIMS Raebareli PhD Admission 2026 notification is now open. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences Raebareli, UP, invites applications for admission to its PhD Program commencing in 2026. This program offers research opportunities under experienced faculty across diverse medical and biomedical science specializations.
Prospective candidates can pursue in-depth research in areas ranging from Infectious Diseases and Neurochemistry to AI in Neurosciences and Antimicrobial Resistance, guided by experts in their respective fields.

a. Qualification:
- MD/MS/MDS/DM/MCh/Diplomat of National Board of Examination (NMC recognized).
- OR Master’s degree in Science / M.Tech (Biotechnology) / MHA / MBA in Hospital Administration from a recognized university in relevant fields (Basic Biosciences, Health Sciences, Allied Sciences, etc.).
b. Qualifying Marks: Minimum 60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA in MBBS (for medical graduates) OR MSc/MTech/MHA. A 5% relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
II. Foreign Nationals
Degrees from foreign universities must be recognized by the National Medical Council (for medical) or UGC (for non-medical). The same qualifying marks apply as for Indian nationals.

| Category 1 | Candidates with essential qualifications and a letter of award for fellowship & contingency from Govt. funding agencies (UGC/CSIR/ICMR/DST/SERB/DBT, etc.) for a minimum of 3 years. |
| Category 2 | Candidates working in an extramural project at AIIMS Raebareli as JRF/SRF/Research Assistant (funded by Govt./UN agencies). Enrolment must be within the project’s second year, with total project duration of at least 3 years. No fellowship or contingency from the institute. |
Note for Project Candidates: A candidate working in an extramural project at AIIMS Raebareli must have a chief guide exclusively from AIIMS Raebareli.
