The National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS) PhD Admission 2026 (Aug) focuses on advanced areas of modern biology including:

• Cell and Molecular Biology
• Structural Biology
• Bioinformatics
• Systems Biology
• Neuroscience
• Immunology
• Infection Biology
• Cancer Biology
• Microbial Ecology

• Postgraduate degree in any branch of science with minimum 60% marks or equivalent GPA.
• 5% relaxation for SC or ST or OBC and PwD candidates.
• Must have valid JRF from CSIR, UGC, DBT Category 1, ICMR or BINC
• OR qualified JGEEBILS exam conducted in December 2025

Not Eligible: Candidates qualified only for Lectureship or DBT Category 2 or ICAR or ICMR Project category.
