Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for NIT Uttarakhand PhD Admission 2026 (July) must possess a Master’s degree in the concerned or allied discipline with minimum required marks or CGPA.

General/OBC 6.5 CGPA or 60%
SC/ST/PwD 6.0 CGPA or 55%
  • GATE / NET (CSIR/UGC/LS/Ph.D only) qualification is mandatory for regular full-time admission.
  • Relaxation from GATE/NET requirement is applicable only for Self Sponsored and Part-Time categories.
  • Part-Time candidates must have minimum 2 years of work experience.
  • NOC is mandatory for employed candidates.
