Admission will be offered in accordance with UGC Ph.D. Regulations 2022 and University Ordinance 124. Candidates possessing valid UGC NET, UGC-CSIR NET, GATE, CEED or similar national-level test scores can apply online through the University admission portal. The admission process includes shortlisting based on national-level test performance followed by an interview conducted by the respective department or centre.

- Master's Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- Equivalent foreign qualification recognized by competent authority.

- Candidates applying after a 4-Year Bachelor's Degree Programme must have minimum 75% aggregate marks.
- 5% relaxation is available in the 75% requirement for eligible reserved categories.
