- MBBS/BDS with minimum 55% aggregate marks or MD/MS/MDS/DM/MCh or equivalent qualification.

- Master's degree in Life Sciences and allied subjects from UGC approved universities.
- B.Tech (Biotechnology) and M.Tech (Biotechnology) candidates are eligible.
- M.Sc./M.A./M.Phil. in Psychology or Clinical Psychology are eligible where applicable.
- Non-medical candidates must have minimum 55% marks in the qualifying examination.
