Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics, Astrophysics, or Atmospheric Sciences with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST).
  • National Level Exams: Candidates must have a valid JEST, GATE (Physics), or CSIR-UGC NET (JRF/LS) qualification.
  • Engineering Candidates: For specific ISRO-RESPOND projects, B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics/Instrumentation with 75% marks is required.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as of January 31, 2026 (Relaxation applicable as per Govt. norms).
  • Recency: Candidates should have passed their qualifying degree on or after June 1, 2023.
Note: Fulfilling the minimum qualification does not guarantee an interview call. Screening is done based on GATE/JEST ranks and academic performance.

Fellowship & Financial Support
