Bharathidasan University (BDU) PhD Admission 2026 – Official notification released for Ph.D. Entrance Examination, August 2026. All PG degree holders (India/Abroad) except NET/SET qualified (within 5 years) must apply online. The exam is scheduled for 30 August 2026 at 11:00 AM. Candidates in final year PG can also apply; pass certificate valid for 5 years. Application deadline: 21 August 2026.
This computer-based test consists of 50 MCQs (100 marks, 75 minutes) based on the PG syllabus of Bharathidasan University. Minimum Marks in PG Degree:
- SC/ST/Person with Disability: 50% marks
- All Other Candidates: 55% marks

- PG Degree under regular pattern from recognized university.
- Final year PG candidates may apply; pass certificate issued after production of attested mark statement with minimum eligible percentage.
- NET/SET qualified (within 5 years) are exempted from this entrance exam.

Grouped subjects – Main subject knowledge will be tested.
