* B.E./B.Tech. graduates with CGPA ≥ 7.0 can be considered for direct admission if they possess: 1) Valid GATE score, OR 2) JRF of CSIR/UGC/DST INSPIRE, OR 3) Minimum 5 years professional experience as regular employee.
- For QIP/External/part‑time categories, requirement of valid GATE / CSIR‑UGC‑JRF / Lectureship / NBHM may be waived.
- Selection Committee may set more stringent criteria than minimum qualifications.
- Candidates who obtained PG degree 10 years earlier as on last date must appear for institute test.
- Eligible candidates called for written test and interview (offline mode) by Selection Committee.
- PG degree holders (≥10 years old) must appear for institute test.
- Foreign nationals may be considered with online interview.
- Final recommendation based on academic record + test + interview performance.
