Note: For Full-time Sponsored, Part-time, and External categories, applicants must have at least two years of work experience after the qualifying degree at the time of application.
Eligibility for Institute financial assistance (for Full-time Regular with Fellowship category) is as per MoE norms:
- Candidates with B.Tech./B.S. (4-year)/Master’s degree and valid GATE/NET(JRF)/NBHM/CEED score.
- GATE requirement exempted for M.Tech./M.E. degree holders.
- GATE waived for Bachelor’s degree holders from CFTIs with CGPA/CPI > 8.0 on a 10-point scale.
- For School of Management and Entrepreneurship: CAT/GRE/GMAT score of 80 percentile or more, OR a full-time postgraduate degree from an Institute of National Importance with 70% marks.
Additionally, full-time regular Ph.D. students may receive partial financial support for presenting research papers at national/international conferences once during the program, as per institute norms.
