Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS) PhD Admission 2026 (June) notification has been officially released for Autumn Semester 2026. The institute invites applications for regular full-time PhD programs across multiple schools including Applied and Interdisciplinary Sciences, Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Material Sciences, Mathematical and Computational Sciences, and Physical Sciences.

• Minimum 55% marks in Master’s degree (50% for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/Differently-abled categories).
• Must meet UGC eligibility norms.
• Valid national-level exam qualification (CSIR/UGC NET JRF or equivalent fellowship).
• Age limit: Below 28 years on closing date (relaxation as per Government rules).
• Applicant must be an Indian citizen.

• Shortlisting based on academic record and national-level examination performance.

• Final selection based on merit, performance and availability of research positions.

Admission Fees: ₹15000 (one-time admission fee) + ₹10000 (caution deposit). Remaining annual fees to be paid within 6 months of joining.
