To be eligible for the Jadavpur University (JU) PhD Admission 2025-26 in Science, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:- The applicant must be an eligible Indian National.
- Candidates must have qualified in national examinations such as NET, SET, GATE, ICMR-NET, DBT-NET, AYUSH – NET, ICAR NET, etc..
- An essential requirement is possessing at least a 2-years M.Sc. or an equivalent degree from any University or Institute recognized by the UGC.
- Applicants must meet the requisite marks as specified in the eligibility under the new J.U. Ph.D. regulation 2024.

Application Submission Process
Candidates for the Jadavpur University (JU) PhD Admission 2025-26 must strictly adhere to the following steps:- Download the application form from the Jadavpur University website (https://jadavpuruniversity.in/).
- Pay the application fee of Rs. 500/- per subject online via the SBI Collect system. Save the payment receipt.
- Fill the application form completely, affixing one passport-size photograph.
- Secure the filled-in consent form, duly signed by the Supervisor, Director (if from an affiliated institute), and the Head of the concerned Department of Jadavpur University. The format of this consent form is available with the notice.
- Employed candidates must fill the NOC portion of the form, authenticated by the competent authority.
- Submit the complete, filled-in application along with all attested testimonials (mark-sheets, certificates from Madhyamik onwards, NET/GATE certificates, payment receipt, age proof, caste/category certificate where applicable) to the Office of Dean & Secretary, Ph.D. Cell, Faculty of Science, TEQIP Building (Ground Floor), Jadavpur University.
