Introduction
Jadavpur University (JU) PhD (Engineering and Pharmacy) Admission 2026 (July) notification has been officially released by the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Kolkata.
This admission is for Session-I (July–December 2026), inviting applications from eligible Indian nationals for various Ph.D. programmes across multiple engineering and pharmacy disciplines.

Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s degree (M.E./M.Tech./M.Pharm./M.Arch./MS or equivalent) with 55% marks.
- MCA candidates must have 65% marks.
- 4-year Bachelor's degree holders must have 75% marks.
- 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/PwD candidates.

Payment must be made via SBI Collect using online modes.
Selection Process
- NET/GATE/GPAT qualified candidates are exempted from WRET.
- Others must appear in Written Entrance Test (WRET).
- Weightage:
- 70% Entrance Test / National Test Score
- 30% Interview
- Minimum qualifying marks: 50%

Reservation Policy
- Reservation as per Government of West Bengal rules.
- Only WB-issued certificates are valid.
- PwD reservation for ≥40% disability.
- EWS certificate must be issued after 01 April 2025.

- No institutional scholarship is offered.
- Incomplete applications will be rejected.
- Already enrolled PhD candidates are not eligible.
