Munger University PhD Admission 2026 notification has been officially released for the academic session 2024 & 2025. Online applications are invited for admission into Ph.D. programmes across multiple disciplines. Candidates can apply through the official university website from 26 April 2026 to 27 May 2026.
The admission will be conducted through a Ph.D. Admission Test (PAT) followed by an interview process. Candidates must carefully review eligibility criteria, seat availability, and selection procedure before applying.

- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- 5% relaxation for SC/ST/EBC/BC/PwD candidates.
- For 4-year UG programme candidates: Minimum 75% marks.
- Valid NET/CSIR-NET score required for NET-based category.
- Qualified PAT 2023 candidates (valid for 3 years).
- M.Phil. degree holders (minimum 55%).
- Permanent teachers with 2+ years experience & research publications.
- Non-teaching staff with 5+ years experience & publications.
- NET/JRF/CSIR/BET qualified candidates.
The final selection in Munger University PhD Admission 2026 will be based on a composite score:
- PG Score (converted) – 70 marks
- Eligibility (without fellowship) – 5 marks
- Interview – 20 marks
50% seats will be filled through exempted candidates and 50% via PAT qualified candidates.
