Eligible candidates will be shortlisted and called for an interview before a Selection Committee constituted by the Institute.
Selection for admission will be based on:
- Academic credentials
- Validity of the fellowship
- Performance in the interview
- Fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility conditions
The decision of the Institute regarding selection and admission shall be final and binding.
- The allotment of the Major Guide/Supervisor will be made by the Institute considering the candidate's preference, faculty availability and research requirements.
- Candidates admitted under this category will be governed by the Academic Regulations, Hostel Rules, Examination Rules and other applicable regulations of ICAR-NDRI, as amended from time to time.
- Candidates admitted under this category will not be eligible for the Institute Fellowship/NDRI Fellowship after expiry or discontinuation of their external National-Level Fellowship.
- Admission will remain provisional until verification of all original documents, the fellowship award letter and fulfilment of all eligibility conditions.
- Reservation policy as per rules of the Government of India shall be applicable.
