Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate degree with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/Cat-I/Differently-abled).
- Candidates appointed before 31st March 1992: 50% (45% for reserved categories).
- Grades must be converted into percentage as per university norms.
Entrance Test Details
- 100 MCQs (50 from Research Methodology + 50 from subject).
- Duration: 120 minutes.
- Exempted: UGC/CSIR JRF, NET, SLET, GATE, GRE, M.Phil (via entrance test).
- Venue: Exam Section & Dr. R.C. Hiremath Institute, K.U. Dharwad.
Application Process

- Submit it to the concerned PG Department with documents and online fee payment proof.
- Application Fee: ₹2,420/- (₹1,210/- for SC/ST full-time); ₹4,840/- for foreign candidates.
- Pay via SBI Collect (see www.kud.ac.in for details).
Important:
- Valid caste/income certificates required (Income < ₹2.5L must be within 5 years).
- Incomplete applications will be rejected.
- Selected candidates must pay fees within 7 days; waitlisted candidates follow next.
- Outside-university candidates must submit Eligibility Certificate during admission.
