Introduction
Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, has announced Ph.D. admissions for the 2022 research ordinance. Only exempted category candidates can apply. The online application forms are available on the university website ccsuniversity.ac.in from July 4, 2025, and the last date to apply is July 20, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria (Exempted Category)
- UGC/CSIR/ICAR/NET/JRF qualified candidates.
- M.Phil. degree holders admitted through entrance exam at CCSU.
- GATE qualified candidates with at least 65 percentile.
- Ph.D. admission qualified through UGC NET.
General Eligibility for Ph.D. Programme
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/DA or those who completed PG before Sept 19, 1991.
- M.Phil. holders with at least 55% marks can apply under integrated programme.
- Foreign equivalent M.Phil. holders accredited by recognized agencies can apply.
- Final semester PG students may also apply but must present mark sheets at the interview.
Selection Process
- Interview before RAC (30 marks).
- Merit list based on interview marks.
- Minimum 12 marks in interview required for eligibility.
- Priority to JRF-qualified candidates.
- Expired JRF validity treated as NET only.
- NFSC/NFOBC/INSPIRE holders must also qualify NET.
- Tie-breaking: Postgraduate %, then Graduation, 10+2, High School marks.
