Admission Notification
Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the Ph.D. programme at Cluster University Srinagar for the academic session 2025-26. Admission is subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria in the disciplines/subjects listed based on available vacancies. The number of vacancies is subject to change based on the recommendations of the Departmental Research Committee (DRC) of the respective departments.
Important Note
The Ph.D. degree shall be awarded in the subject/discipline in which the candidate has qualified their Master’s degree. The Departmental Research Committee (DRC) decides which subjects are considered allied to the main subject. The decision of the DRC is subject to the approval of the Board of Research Studies (BORS) at the time of registration.

Application Process & Fee
- Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1000/- is to be paid online.
- How to Apply: Applicants must visit the official University website and apply online through the “Admissions” tab.
- In-service Candidates: In-service candidates must mention their date of appointment and length of service, and upload a NOC from their parent department along with their application and qualification certificates.
