Introduction
Applications are invited for admission to the Ph.D. program in Neuroscience (2025). Candidates from Life Sciences, Biological Sciences and Medical Sciences are eligible to apply. Selected candidates will be placed under supervisors:

Eligibility & Selection
Eligibility: PG in Life/Biological/Medical Sciences (UGC norms).
Selection Process
- NET/GATE/DBT-NET/DST INSPIRE qualified: exempted from written test; must attend interview.
- Others: must take MCQ exam (50 marks, 2 hrs). Shortlisted for interview.
- Final selection: interview performance; subject to University approval.
- RET qualification ≠ fellowship guarantee.

Fee: Rs. 100/-
Pay via SBI Collect → Educational Institutions → Calcutta University → Miscellaneous Fees → PhD Admission. Attach challan copy with application.
Submit application + challan to Head, S. N. Pradhan Centre by 15 Sept 2025.
