Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent (5% relaxation for reserved categories).
- Candidates with a 4-year bachelor’s degree must have 75% marks (or equivalent) for direct Ph.D. admission.
- M.Phil. holders with 55% marks are also eligible.
- Discipline-specific qualifications are required for multidisciplinary centres (e.g. AYUSH, Disaster Risk Reduction).
Application Process
- Visit www.iust.ac.in → Admissions 2025–26
- Register and verify phone & email.
- Fill in all details and upload documents (100–200 KB in .jpg/.jpeg/.png/.pdf).
- Pay fee online (₹1000 + ₹300 per additional program).
- Download submitted form for future reference (no hard copy needed).
- Selection based on UGC-NET, GATE, CEED, or University Entrance Test + Interview.
- 70% weightage for test score, 30% for interview.
- Applicants must check detailed Ph.D. Ordinance 2023 on the university website.
