Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in the concerned or allied subject with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade. A relaxation of 5% is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/Differently-abled candidates as per UGC norms.
Admission Procedure
- Ph.D. Entrance Test (BU-PET): Offline test with 50% general and 50% subject-specific questions.
- Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will attend an interview to assess suitability.
Exemption: Candidates with NET/SLET are exempt from BU-PET but must attend the interview.
Documents Required at Interview
- Printout of submitted Application Form
- Original Pass Certificates and Mark-sheets (HSLC to Master’s)
- Original Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Scorecard of UGC-NET/SLET (if applicable)
- BU-PET 2025 Scorecard
- No Objection Certificate (for employed candidates)
