Eligibility Criteria for Dr YSR Horticultural University (DRYSRHU) PhD Admission 2025-26
For Ph.D.(Hort.) Courses (Horticulture Disciplines)

Admission Procedure & Selection Criteria
- Mandatory Qualification: The candidate must have qualified and secured a rank in the ICAR AICE JRF/SRF (Ph.D) – 2025 examination.
- Selection Basis: Admission shall be solely on the basis of counselling.
- Tie-Breaking Rule (in order):
- First Preference: Candidate who secures more marks at the previous qualification (B.Sc./M.Sc. level).
- Second Preference: The older candidate based on the date of birth shall be preferred.
- Counselling: A merit list of eligible candidates within the subject groups will be prepared, and counselling will be conducted tentatively on 10-12-2025. Candidates must attend counselling with all original certificates and their ICAR rank card.
